What way are you facing?

Today from our balcony if you turn your back on the Little Orme and face the Great Orme you can see the sun shine on Llandudno.

However if you want you can turn your back on the Great Orme and face the Little Orme, then you no longer see the sun but the shadows.

Somewhere along the skyline there is a shift from blue skies to grey, (see first picture).

Turning your back on the sun leads us to see the shadows rather than the light, when you face the sun the shadows fall behind you.

It's the same when we turn our back on the Son, the light of the world, the shadows loom long in front of you, but when you turn towards the Son, the shadows fall behind you. Your circumstances may not change, but your outlook will.

Today choose to face the Son and let His light shine on you leaving the shadows behind you and helping others walk in the light.

John 8:12 New King James Version

12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
