Open and Shut Doors.

Yesterday I finished of my blog with Jeremiah 29 : 11 where God says 'I know the plans I have for you' and that's great but sometimes we would like to know what those plans are and we want to know now, but then where is the faith in that? That is why we can get into Proverbs 16 : 9 mode, 'man makes his plans,' but if we stop there it can be quite disastrous if we don't remember to let 'the Lord direct our steps'.

We have laid our plans down before the Lord, we believe a move is coming, what exactly that will look like we have no idea. Yesterday as we were out and about doing nothing in particular we ended up parked in a farm roadend watching a deer and looking at a building site which we have watched develop from the start, half an hour later we had applied for a house on that same building site being previously unaware that we could do so. Is God directing our steps? well we have knocked on the door and we will see if it opens.

Today we are set to run a stall at the local fete and fun dog show, we are selling books on behalf of Blood Bike Wales and we are also looking to encourage people to 'Trypraying' and offer them prayer, how that will go down at a local fete we can only wait and see, 'Man makes his plans' God will direct his steps.' Right now it is overcast and raining, you can't sell books from a table in the rain, is God shutting the door? We are praying that by 12.00 o'clock the rain will have stopped, the sun will shine and we will be able to do what we have planned, GOD WILLING!

These are the words of him who is Holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
