Holy Saturday, a day of waiting, waiting in expectancy.

Holy Saturday is the day in between. Jesus has been crucified on Friday and we know Sunday is coming and the celebration of Jesus rising from the dead, but what about Saturday?

Well as Christians who live in the full knowledge that Jesus has Risen, and we are not in mourning of His death but living in the remembrance of Jesus being alive and seated at the right hand of the father then Saturday becomes a day of just waiting, waiting to celebrate a past event, not a coming event, and while we will sing tomorrow 'Jesus Christ is Risen Today' we know that Jesus Christ is risen today and every day, Alleluia!
