For we walk by Faith not by sight.

The above was the view from our balcony this morning. Usually the view would be of the 'Great Orme'. For those of you unfamiliar with Llandudno, the bay is 'book ended' by two large lumps of rock, the Little Orme and the Great Orme. The Great Orme is large enough to have a road going round it, houses on it, a dry ski slope, cable cars, tramway, and don't forget the goats, yet to look out our window it was nowhere to be seen. I never doubted for a minute that it wasn't there, but it was not visible.

Our Christian Faith should be like that, God may not be visible to us, but we should never doubt that He is here. We need to remember what God has done for us and what He is continuing to do for us, even when we don't see what He is doing, even when we don't always feel like He is here, He is. Jesus promised that He will never leave us or forsake us, by Faith receive that promise and live life 'fully alive'.

Hebrews 13:5

New King James Version

5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
