Every day is a Holy Day!

Today is Bank Holiday Monday. The word Holiday is originally derived from Holy Day, a day set apart, usually of some religious significance, when no regular work is done. Nowadays most peoples holidays have no religious significance and even the holidays that once upon a time were Holy Days are just another day off. The fact that they are often referred to as bank holidays says a lot about what we hold dear.

Matthew 6:24 New King James Version

You Cannot Serve God and Riches

24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.

You cannot serve God and mammon. (Money)

While money is necessary, serving it will only lead you to wanting more. But when we serve God we will be fully satisfied and every day will be a Holy Day.
