Enlarge your tent!

It is good to stop and reflect now and then where you are and what lies ahead, we feel at a crossroads just now but then again the road of the cross is where we walk. As we are seeking God about what next, (should we stay or should we go now, as the song says) we are getting that we are in the right place but we are staying close to God and being guided by His Holy Spirit. Jean got the above verse, enlarge the place of your tent. Now that at first reading might sound like get a bigger house, but we are already in a large house, particularly for just the two of us, although it comes in handy when the boys are here. No, in the Bible it means get ready for what God is about to do, get ready and watch as He blesses the work of your hands, as He places His protection around you, as the Lord continues to say in verse 17, no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Isaiah 54:17 New International Version

17 no weapon forged against you will prevail,

and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,

and this is their vindication from me,”

declares the Lord.

We are ready and waiting expectantly to see what the Lord will do, and as we can see from the above picture, big tents can move and move fast. The last show at the circus was yesterday afternoon and by the evening it was empty and getting packed up, later today we expect it to be gone and the field empty once again.
