Called to be a witness!

I am writing here from the Costa del North Wales, with the above view of the sweeping promenade, the lights along the pier and the moon hanging gently in the sky over the Great Orme, just like it has always done, long before the pier, the promenade and even Llandudno itself came in to being, the same moon that, as the Bible says has been established (by God) forever, a faithful witness in the sky.

Psalm 19:1 New King James Version

The Perfect Revelation of the Lord

19 The heavens declare the glory of God;

And the firmament shows His handiwork.

We too as followers of Jesus are called to be a witness................

Acts 1:8 New King James Version

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

As I said on Saturday we had a stall at the local fete and fun dog show. We had a book stall in which we raised £80 for Blood Bike Wales, not bad for some old books. We also took the opportunity to witness for Jesus, from a small encouraging word to someone who picked up a Trypraying booklet, to some full on conversations about how Jesus has changed our lives, I gave away some of my books* and more importantly some Bibles, from the small pocket Biker Bibles**, to full size Bibles in various translations.

One of our team even came second in the 'looking most like your dog section', her dog, Ben, wears a t-shirt with on a mission and a cross on it, well done Lucy.
