Beach season is never over.

Our favourite spot here in LLandudno is the car park on West Shore. There is a rough bit of ground just off the main car park where we choose to park. With views looking out to The Isle of Angelsey and Puffin Island, bookended by the Great Orme and the Snowdonia hills (some days you can see the top of Mount Snowdon itself) what is not to like. We have a favourite walk along the top of the sand dunes along to Deganwy and the small beach cafe there. The other day due to this hot weather we paddled along the waters edge on Deganwy beach and, as it is more private and secluded, we even managed a quick dip (the water got quite cold quite quick.)

Life seems so idylic at times and yet that very day we came across and old issue, one that we have dealt with too often and one that shouldn't be needing dealt with again. Yet there it was, and the manner of me dealing with it was so from the flesh.

No matter how well we see our lives as going we must be aware that there is an enemy out there that wants to destroy us.

John 10:10 New King James Version

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

We must always be on our guard.

1 Peter 5:8 New King James Version

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

and if you think you have life all sorted out, beware, even in what seems to be the best of times, you can still get into your flesh and not the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 10:12 New King James Version

12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

I'm sorry Jean, I love you and I pray for God to guide me by His Holy Spirit into treating you right and showing you how much I care.
